It’s that time of the month where we are swapping our old water filters! Ever since I found out about my toddler’s eczema and her super sensitive skin, I try to protect her in any way that I can. Did you know that our water is full of chlorine, heavy metals and industrial contaminants? Were you aware that water treatment facilities usually check for under 10 main contaminants when there are thousands slipping under the cracks?

It can be overwhelming trying to steer clear of all of the things we should be avoiding on a day to day basis. However, I’m always looking for easy ways to make our life cleaner and less toxic where I can and Santevia takes some of the worry out of this mama’s heart.

Many of their systems filter our chlorine, lead, fluoride, mercury, copper, cadmium and microplastics. What’s even better? It adds back in some sort of necessary and healthy minerals that our water is lacking like magnesium, calcium, phosphorous, potassium and zinc!

I feel a little better bathing my babies each night with the Santevia Bath faucet filter reducing their exposure to contaminants & keeping their skin protected. For the grown ups we installed this Handheld shower head filter which also removes chlorine, heavy metals (lead, mercury, nickel, chromium) and other harmful substances from the water so that you can enjoy your shower and improve your health at the same time!

In addition, we are also conscious of what water is going into our body and for now we’re using the water filter pitcher and hoping to upgrade to this counter top model in the near future.
